How much does property styling cost?
So you’re thinking about putting your house on the market? Well chances are that you’ve heard of the term property styling - hey I guess it’s what has brought you here. You may be asking yourself is this really worth it? Is it an expense I need right now? Wait, it’s how much?
Well before we get too ahead of ourselves, I just want to clear up something pretty darn important property styling is an INVESTMENT not an expense! Property styling/home staging whatever you prefer to call it, is a professional real estate service that is solely designed to maximise the value of your home, minimise the days it spends on the market and to attract the highest possible number of buyers.
Now we’ve cleared that up I guess we can address the reason why you’re here: how much is this going to cost? Well that’s like asking how long is a piece of string, because just like any service based business (think the likes of plumbers, hairdressers and even your local dentist) there are a multitude of different ways that we each set up our businesses, which then has a direct impact on the prices we charge. For Nestled, we established our entire business model upon streamlining our level of service and ensuring our clients receive the best return on their investment. This means we have removed the middle man (the furniture hire companies, the logistics etc.) We own every single piece we place into your home, the furniture, the towels, the vases - all of it. We have in-house logistics which allows us to also work carefully yet efficiently. All of these things allow us to keep our prices fair and competitive. We will never be the cheapest and we will never be the most expensive property styling company in Melbourne but we do pride ourselves on offering an affordable, considered and quality service to our clients.
Please don’t take this as gospel as there are several different variables we need to consider when pricing our styling packages but here is a guide based on the number of rooms/size of the property (All amounts inc GST and prices based on vacant properties).

A team of qualified designers: Our service consists of the styling service itself were our team of qualified interior designers will select all furniture and decor suited to your home and it’s target market
Furniture Hire: 6 week hire period of all furniture + decor pieces
Insurance: transport and accidental insurance (not including pet stains/damage)
Two-way transportation + Set Up: delivery of furniture and decor pieces, placement of furniture and pack up after the hire period concludes
Wait, but who pays for the property styling?
More often than not it is up to the vendor to pay for the property styling unless they have a marketing arrangement with their agent. We are proud to now offer a STYLE NOW + PAY LATER service to help take the stress out of upfront payments.
